about

Dear Space Debris friend!

2021 we had the 20th anniversary of the first Space Debris record pressing!

Thats what we celebrate with YOU by listening to this previously unavailable track "Voodoo" ...

This track is only available here at bandcamp and not on CD / Vinyl, maybe in a few years on an archive CD, but we don't know.

This was the first recording session as "Space Debris". It was an analog recording in Heppenheim. It's something like a "Kraut Lok" - outake that we played at the same evening just before the Track "Second Sight". This was the first session we recorded in 2004 after the three founding members Kunkel / Gorny / Jäger decided to continue as a band with the name "Space Debris".

As you may know, the first Space Debris DLP "Krautrocksessions" was pressed in 2001 with tracks recorded in the 90s when we didn't had that band name.

Within this longtrack there are a few short citations. They reflect some ideas from our first DLP and some well known bands we like!

...now in 2023 we added also a longtrack "Voodoo part 2" - what is this? This is the second half of the sessio from 2004 which was only complete already released like this on the Deluxe-Vinyl-DLP Kraut Lok 2017. It´s the Second Sight track of the original Kraut Lok DLP/CD plus the track "Second Sight part 2" from the archive-album "Back To Universe" from 2018 on CD.. So big sorry for the confusion, but it´s not as difficult as it may look like: The complete recorded session is indeed "Voodoo" plus "Second Sight part 1" plus "Second Sight Part 2", and here at bandcamp you have them all in the right position together for the first time with a total length of more than a full hour! So it´s the longest session-track of Space Debris ever!

Thank you for your constant support!

Best wishes from Space Debris/Christian
